I thought you should all know that Zeffie is basically on the verge of crawling. He hasn’t quite figured out what those back legs are good for yet, but he’s certainly mobile, rolling himself around the living room and getting into all sorts of things he’s not supposed to be getting into.
Coincidentally, the baby has yet to learn what “No, no, baby” means.
Zeffie has also said “mama,” but he typically only says it when he’s really upset and wants his mama. We believe he has also said “hi” in response to us saying it to him, but this is spotty so far.
However, it is waving back at people. It’s not every time, but it’s there, and he seems to be doing it more every day.
As for Nathan, well, he’s a big kid now, so he’s learning about the world of consequences. Namely, consequences for ignoring or dismissing his parents when they ask him to pick up his toys or do a small chore. Otherwise, he is a happy, growing boy with way too much hair and a tendency to fight bedtime in some cute (also annoying) ways.
