Nathan had his four-month checkup today (along with a few shots), and here are the numbers: He weighs 14 pounds, 4 ounces and is just over 24 inches tall. The doctor says he’s in the 25th-50th percentile for height and weight, which is right on track for where he’s been so far.
The poor little guy handled the shots fairly well. The first jab surprised him more than anything, but that expression lasted about a second before his face crumpled. Then, he didn’t make any noise as the second and third shots came; he was holding his breath and turning six shades redder. Then it came, but it honestly wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Susan provided him with comfort and food immediately afterward, and e seemed to forget all about the hard times.
The next checkup will be at six months.

Yay! Sounds like he is doing wonderful! I know my mom is looking forward to meeting him this summer…
